That does sound wonderful on a hot day like today. Just to float around in the pool and chatting with friends. You can have your own pool but you may want to consider a few things first.

It is a responsibility to own one of the in ground pools. You must keep your pool clean and the water clean to have a it sanitary to swim in. Never swim in an unclean pool. So before making your decision find out what it takes to maintain a pool. This way you will be sure if you want to take on the task.

After agreeing to take on the task of maintaining your pool correctly you need to analyze your yard for where to place your pool. Scope out the easiest route between your pool and the house. You want a clear path no briar’s to have to walk through to get there. Also you want to be able to enter the house near a bathroom if possible too.

Your next thing to make your mind up on is what size and shape of pool. Now do you want a round, square, rectangular, or custom shaped one. Did you know there has even been guitar shaped pools? You can even have a pool designed with a waterfall in it.

Now at this point be smart enough to call in a pool contractor to help with the planning and the construction of the pool. You need certain knowledge to build a pool correctly and unless you are a professional on pools yourself you may make some costly mistakes by yourself.

After you decide what size, shape, and pool person to use you have to decide what material you want your pool made out of. There are several choices and each one has their good points and their bad points. Lets examine what materials you can use.

The three main materials to do pools from are vinyl lined, concrete and fiberglass. Vinyl lined pools can be stunning with all the choices in colors and designs available in them. But vinyl liners can get tore which can cause problems. Concrete is so versatile as far as being able to mold into different shapes. Concrete can help create some real unique pools. The bad thing about concrete is how much cleaning it requires and that it can get cracks as aging occurs. Fiberglass is the tougher of these materials. A fiberglass pool last longer with less maintenance than the others. Fiberglass pools come in preset shapes though so you are limited to your choice shape wise using it.

Now that you have decided what material to make your pool from, you can start to have your style of the in ground pools built. Once it is built you will need to landscape the surrounding area. Now fill your new pool with water and treat it with either the salt-water treatment or the chemical treatment. Let the water come to proper PH. Now you can have fun splashing and swimming around.

Things to Remember with Bathroom Remodeling Designs

by Ann Triune

Are you thinking of bathroom remodeling designs? Maybe it’s about time that you do. There may be a need to change the size and look of your bathroom. Remodeling is the only solution. There are however, some important points to remember when you decide to remodel. Keep these in mind to ensure a successful bathroom project.

Don’t Forget Your Budget

Common sense will tell you that everything hinges on your financial capacity. This is why starting with your budget first makes sense. Your budget will tell you what you can buy and who you can hire. This is where you find out if you can actually afford to expand your bathroom space or just replace some fixtures and elements. Set a clear budget for remodeling and decide to stick with it.

Collect Designs

You may not be a remodeling expert. You may not even have an artistic streak but you do have particular tastes. Make your preferences more concrete by carefully studying bathroom designs in magazines and online pictures. Looking at what other bathrooms look like will help you determine what specific fixtures and colors you would want yourself. Once you have some idea of what you want, start window shopping. This is the point where you start narrowing down material types, styles and colors. This is where you decide for example whether you want ceramic or granite tiles and a round or square bath tub.

Experts Know Better

You may have already picked from among the many bathroom remodeling designs. You may have also already decided on the style, color and material of tiles, fixtures and accessories that you want. If this is the case, your next step should be to ask experts to help you out. If you aren’t quite experienced yourself or if your remodeling is extensive, you may need a full time contractor. Before you even contract them for the job, run your bathroom idea with them and find out whether your idea can be executed. Your contractor can also help you find out if your plan still fits your budget.

Your Choice of Experts Matters

You can’t just randomly pick a contractor from a list. A bad contractor can ruin the best and most appropriate designs. A good contractor on the other hand can make even the simplest designs true works of art. You should therefore always conduct a thorough background check on your contractor before pushing through with your project.

Purchasing Materials

Before the remodeling date begins, make sure everything is ready. The on site availability of your materials and tools can help get the job done faster. Ask your contractor for a close estimate of how many tiles you need and how big your fixtures should be. Buy what you need days before your contractor starts work. Buying only while the work is in progress can put you in a snag. Some materials might go out of stock or prices could increase and affect your budget.

Applying bathroom remodeling designs need not be difficult. Simply remember these basic points and you can change your bathroom for the better.
